I have been preparing medico-legal reports for solicitors and medico-legal agencies since 1996 and to date have prepared in excess of 9000.

I am quite happy to accept instructions either from agencies or directly from solicitors.

In addition I am usually able to give instructing parties the details of two other medical experts in the geographical areas that I consult to assist with the nomination process. This does, however, depend on other experts movements, and is not guaranteed.

Approximately 90% of my work is as a single joint expert, and around 10% is claimant based.

I am, however, entirely comfortable with either claimant or defendant based instructions.

Appointments are normally offered within around 2-4 weeks of the original instruction, but urgent cases can usually be accommodated earlier.

Reports are usually ready within 5-7 days of the appointment, and can be e mailed or faxed as well as posted if this is more convenient.

The reports are printed onto A4 paper using Arial size 12 font.

Each report is indexed, paragraphs are numbered and there are footers from the second page onwards.

All reports are prepared individually.

I do not use any report writing software that produces generic documents unless I am specifically requested to do so.

If requested, I am conversant with WARP and GRIP software.

All clients are sent a letter confirming the time, date, and address of their appointment.

In addition they are sent a pre-examination questionnaire to complete and bring with them.

I am conversant with Delta V, and I am very comfortable preparing reports that relate to low velocity impacts.
